Schon mal einen Geburtstag vergessen? Die App "Meine Geburtstage" hilft Dir dabei, dass das zukünftig nicht mehr passiert.

Die App zeigt Dir einfach die nächsten Geburtstage aus Deinem iOS-Adressbuch an. Jeweils mit der Anzahl der Tage, bis es soweit ist. Wenn Du in Deinem Adressbuch auch das Geburtsjahr eingegeben hast, dann zeigt die App dir auch das Alter der Person an.

Mit einem Klick auf den Geburtstag springst Du auf den Eintrag der Person in Deinem Adressbuch. So kannst Du einfach dem Geburtstagskind eine Mail schreiben oder es anrufen.

Damit das funktioniert, musst Du der App natürlich Zugriff auf Dein Adressbuch geben. Beim ersten Aufruf bittet ich die App darum, diesen Zugriff zu gewähren. Die App kann ohne diesen Zugriff keine Geburtstage anzeigen!

Einen Tag vor dem Geburtstag erinnert Dich die App mit einer Push-Benachrichtigung an den Geburtstag.

Ever forgotten someone’s birthday? The “My Birthdays” app helps make sure that doesn’t happen again.

The app clearly displays upcoming birthdays from your iOS Contacts, along with the number of days remaining until each birthday. If you have entered a birth year for a contact, the app will also show that person’s current age.

With a single tap on a birthday, you can open the corresponding contact directly in your address book. This makes it easy to send a birthday email or give the person a call.

To provide this functionality, the app requires access to your contacts. The first time you launch the app, you will be asked to grant this permission. Without access to your contacts, the app cannot display any birthdays.

One day before a birthday, the app will remind you with a push notification.
